Pork Belly Ube Sinigang

Ingredients

½ cup Elufa Ube Flavor Powder

8 tbsps Elufa Sinigang Mix

Elufa Pork Seasoning Powder (optional)

1 kilo Pork Belly, sliced into bite-sized pieces

1 cup Tomatoes, sliced

½ cup Onion, slices

3 pieces Sili Sigang

1 piece Labanos, sliced

1 cup Sitaw, cut into 2-inch pieces

1 bundle Kangkong

2 tbsps Oil

2 tbsps Patis

Salt and Pepper to taste

Procedure

  1. Heat oil in a pot and sauté onions and tomatoes until slightly softened.

  2. Add the pork belly, mix well, and cover the pot. Let it cook for 2–3 minutes.

  3. Pour in enough water to cover the pork and bring it to a boil. Simmer until the pork is tender.

  4. Stir in Elufa Sinigang Mix, Elufa Ube Flavor Powder, and any other desired seasonings.

  5. Add salt and pepper to taste, then mix well.

  6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add all the vegetables. Simmer until the vegetables are cooked to your liking.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Note

  • Adjust the amount of Elufa Ube Flavor Powder to your desired taste for a richer flavor.
